Neil Walmsley MVB Cert AVP MRCVS graduated  in 1996 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin. Since then he has always had an interest in cardiology and respiratory disease and 4 years ago enrolled on a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Veterinary Cardiology. He successfully completed this certificate in May 2017  of which he is extremely proud. During his studies he had to submit how he dealt with over 200 different cardiology and respiratory cases, take part in many online discussion forums and further his medical and surgical skills. He runs cardiology clinics in Cedar Grove Vets, Belfast in Cromyln House Veterinary Hospital, Hillsborough Spires Vet Clinic, Omagh and in Greenmount Vets, Portadown.

He is a member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association and a member of the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society.
